Yes! Finally! A sneaker show is coming to Austin on Saturday, August 7th, 2010. You can probably bet that there will be a bunch of Nike Dunks and possibly Supras. Yeah, I know a lot of people (especially skaters) think they've been played out or taken over by the "mainstream", but as long as people still wear fake, over sized glasses, there will be a market for Dunks and Supras. But those won't be all the shoes they'll have. I'm also willing to bet that there will be a ton of Jordans. All you Jordan collectors, start saving up because you just might find those out of production, quickstrike, retro Jordans you've had wet dreams over at this sneaker show.

Tasseled Loafers?

Yes. It's summer and low tops with no-show socks, or no socks at all, is the current standard. But what kind of shoes can I wear with no socks you ask? Aside from TOM'S, there are always loafers. Not just any loafers, the tasseled kind. Yeah, the same ones you've seen on hundreds of older gentlemen and prep school kids.

For some of you, this is completely unacceptable. I understand. It's a pretty hard look to pull off. It's too nerdy. But can it be done? Of course. Will your friends make fun of you for it? Probably. Are they comfortable on your feet? Hell yes! That's why I bought a pair of my own. $15 on clearance too? Come on! You would have too.

Hamilton 1883 Fall 2010 Collection

Houston's own Hamilton 1883 recently released some photos of their fall 2010 collection. Although the shirts looked good, only a few of them caught my eye. I probably wouldn't buy any of their stuff though, seeing as most of their shirts cost well over $100. I might change my mind once I get rich (or die trying).

Ah summer. The best time of the year for almost every student in America. Cookouts, barbecues, parties, trips to the beach or lake, camping, etc. the list goes on. Some people I know refuse to wear shorts even on the hottest days. Maybe its their legs or they're afraid something's going to crawl up and bite them in the behind. Whatever their fear, I think most of them just can't find the right ones. Luckily, there are Dickies. Yes, I said Dickies, the work wear brand beloved by construction and blue collar workers everywhere. Yes, those same Dickies that stereotype 90's gangbangers wore.

They make shorts too you know. I currently own 3 pairs and they've lasted for YEARS. Not only that, they're pretty cheap (although the price went up since they've become popular). So, go ahead and stop being the sweaty guy in the corner and get some damn shorts. It's 100 degrees outside!

According to Wikipedia, Hamza El Din, "was a Nubian composer, oud player, tar player, and vocalist." He was born in 1929 in Southern Egypt (Nubia) and died in 2006. R.I.P.

Diggy Simmons, the Rapper, the Shoe Designer

If you did not already know, Diggy Simmons, Russell Simmon's son, is on the verge of releasing his own line of shoes (or clothing brand, I am not too sure). So far, there have not been a lot of pictures released of anything relating to the brand, Chivalrous Culture aka Chivculture, except for a small fragment of shoe that Diggy himself posted on his blog, Life of the Jet Setter. From what I can see, it will be some type of burgundy colored sneaker that might look like a pair of AirYeezys or YSLs.

Olympus Shows That Retro Can Still Sell

Most people like to take photographs, but not everyone wants, or really needs, a full fledged digital SLR. Most digital SLRs are too big and heavy for most people to carry around comfortably. They also require a more experienced hand to actually take advantage of all the features and options that a digital SLR offers. However, for those wishing to have some of the advantages of a digital SLR with the size and portability of a standard point-and-shoot, then Olympus' E-PL1 might be the right fit for you.

The Light Up Shirt?

If you have ever been to a rave or to a gathering of tech-nerds, chances are you've seen the Light Up Shirt. I actually came across somebody wearing one at a club party I recently attended. Lo and behold as I was doing my dance I happened to turn my head slightly to the left and BAM! The Light Up Shirt was in front of me. At first I was like, "Who the hell would wear that to a club?" but then I realized, this is the perfect place for that shirt! It's dark and there's music for the shirt to light up to.

Essentially that is what the t-shirt does. It works the same way those lights on your stereo do. It has little bars on it that move up and down with the sound that it picks up. I was thinking about getting myself one until I realized that buying batteries for my shirt is just not for me. Maybe one day though.

Man, I haven't had the time to post up anything in the last 4 or 5 weeks. In streetwear terms, I might as well have been gone for 5 years. Streetwear moves so quickly that if you miss a month it's like missing an entire year. A ton of stuff has been released that I haven't had a chance to examine, BUT I had a chance to check out these babies right here, and that's why I'm taking the time to post this up! I present to you, Spike Jonze and Kanye West's short film, "We Were Once A Fairytale".

No matter what you think of the guy, you cannot deny Kanye West's creativeness. I personally like his music and could care less that he messed up a speech. Anyway, the video has one of the funniest "sex scenes" I have ever seen.

I'm back everyone. School has been hectic and there was a lot of stuff I needed to take care of, but it's mostly taken care of already so I decided to make a new post.

Winter, the best season imo, is finally coming. You can finally wear your coats, hoodies, etc. If you're looking for some shoes to go with that pea coat, then look no further than this collabo by Band of Outsiders with Sperry Top-Sider. This shoe features 3 shades of grey, worsted wool on the uppers. Being a collabo, this shoe is extremely limited (most collabos are). What surprises me though is that since this was part of their Fall '09 collection, why did they make it so limited? Anyway, if you want a pair of these, you're going to have to look either at eBay or call End Clothing, a boutique located in London, England, and ask if they do phone orders. I don't have the exact price for this, but expect to pay $150+ (especially if you order them from a European boutique).

Louis Vuitton has come a long way from it's early days slangin' luggage and grocery bags in Paris. Today, the LV logo is recognizable in most places throughout the world. For 6 years this iconic symbol of high class fashion has worked with the famous Japanese pop artist, Takashi Murakami, on various projects. I recently found these videos Murakami made to celebrate his collaborations with LV.

It feels like this is what a drug induced trip might feel like.

The Fourth Kind

During my recent trip to the movies to see District 9, they played a preview for an upcoming horror/suspense film called "The Fourth Kind". This is another alien themed movie, but is very different from D9. This one does not seem to have the allegories and subtle commentary about humanity that D9 had. However, it seems to make up for it in freaky awesomeness due to the impromptu style the film is shot in. Too bad it will be a long wait before this is released (March 8, 2009). Check out the trailer and tell me it doesn't get you looking behind your shoulder.

Play Cloths Fall 09 Collection

I don't usually put that many pictures up for an entry, but for Play Cloths I'll make an exception (only because I like The Clipse).

It seems like rappers these days are either a) trying to break into acting or b) starting their own clothing line. A few out there are doing both. Andre 3000 comes to mind. Regardless of their reasons for starting a clothing line The Clipse have taken the street wear world by storm (well, not exactly, but the brand got mad publicity when it released). They have contracted some very good designers and have avoided the pitfalls that Shady Clothing (Eminem's clothing line) fell into, the world of supreme wackness. Here is a look at Play Cloths upcoming fall 09 lineup. To be honest, when I first heard The Clipse would be coming out with a clothing line, I was unsure of what to expect, but the results shouldn't have suprised me since they have close ties to The Neptunes and BBC.

Currently, the only stockists in Austin that I'm aware of that will carry any Play Cloths apparell is Complete Clothing on 8th St between Congress and Brazos.

Kidrobot in Dallas

Kidrobot, a relatively recent (2002) brand, has opened a flagship store in Dallas, TX aka D-town. I know I'm late in putting this up, since they opened around the end of July, but at least I put it up right?

Founded by Paul Budnitz, the brand has quickly become well known in the street wear scene for its collectible toys and limited apparell. It has received both good and bad reviews among the various factions within the larger street wear community. Some have accused the brand of ripping off BBC, Kaws, and several other street wear brands and icons while others have praised it for enhancing the toy collecting subculture and for creating its pop-art inspired clothing.

I personally like the brand, but it does kinda look like another BBC in the making minus Pharrell. Regardless of how you feel about Kidrobot, I'm glad that a relatively well known street wear brand has opened a flagship store in Dallas. About damn time.

Ludwig Fall 09 Everything Else is Noise Collection

BBC Denim Chukkas

Denim is going to be hot this fall and BBC is trying to stay ahead of the curve with these denim Chukkas they will release later this month. BBC is a brand I try to stay away from due to their outrageous prices (even their basic tees run about $80+ brand new). These shoes will run you about $230 dollars, which is lower than I would have thought, considering how high BBC prices it's clothing.

IMO, they look more like Nike Blazers than a traditional chukka boot.

Jay-Z Lookin' Kinda Weird

I haven't had chance to write up any new blog entries lately due to all the things going on in my life at the moment (moving into a new apartment, applying for jobs, etc), but I found some time to post up this pic I saw via SFPL. It's a photo featuring Kanye West, Rihanna, and Jay-Z in some seriously dark, Mad Max type outfits. I know this is a publicity photoshoot for their new song and outrageous clothes are always featured, but is it just me or does Jay-Z look like one of those old guys who tries too hard to dress young and "hip"? He looks mad sloppy in this. Your a rap godfather Jay, but you kinda fell off on this one.

Reh Dogg's "Why Must I Cry" REMADE!

If you remember a couple years ago, an amateur music video popped up on the internet that was so weird and hilarious, it became an internet classic in a few short weeks. Well, I completely forgot about this video until I watched Tosh.0 on Comedy Central last night. Turns out, the found the "artist" who made it named Reh Dogg and re-shot the video with better effects and an airbrushed facade. They also re-shot the infamous shower scene. This is my jam. You heard it here first.

If you want to know what the video means, Reh Dogg himself said the first part was about a youngster he mentored, but despite his efforts, still turned to stealing and doing bad stuff. Apparently, they might be making a comeback thanks to a couple of joke fits that were posted in various fashion oriented websites. Some people actually liked the awesomeness that these tees exuded and considered buying some for themselves. So, could 2009 be the year of the wolf tee (and similar looking animal tees)? I remember wearing a shirt or two like this during elementary school when we did fundraisers for earth day.

These are just some of the shoes featured on Clea's lookbook for fall 09. This is a shoe company that, imo, will be able to stick around due to their eye catching, yet subtle shoe designs. With Clae, it seems like a little flash and a lot of quality go hand in hand. The two shoes I've featured have caught my eye the most. Vans Vault x Taka Hayashi Fall 09 Collection

I've never paid much attention to Vans and I doubt I ever really will. Why? Because I don't like most of their silhouettes. However, with this collaboration with Taka Hayashi, I just might consider buying my first ever pair of Vans. The shoe designs have been largely inspired by Native American patterns and feature premium leather and suede. I'm not sure when the release date is, or if some of these shoes have already been released, but they will definitely be available at select Vans retailers nationwide come fall. I have my eye on the mid top browns that look almost like chukka boots.

The Commissary has just released a tee featuring Perseus holding aloft Medusa's severed head that just so happens to look a lot like C&C's logo. Why the beef you ask? It's because, according to Commissary via their blog, C&C has been biting their ideas and designs like biatches. I wonder what C&C will come up with as a response? Maybe some a tee featuring a dog chewing on the Commissary's crossed bones logo. Only time will tell. In the meantime, you can cop this tee via Commissary's e-shop for $25.00 USD.

Reebok Reverse Jam Yucatin

I love the Reverse Jams. You can play ball in 'em and they look decent in a pair of slim or straight leg jeans. They are also available at most shoe stores that carry Reebok and retail for around $60-80. However, I believe this collection will only be distributed to select retailers.

Adidas Originals by Originals David Beckham Collection

Adidas is coming BACK BABY! They have always been an innovative shoe company imo and they've kind of fallen on hard times due to stiff competition from Nike and other shoe brands. However, I think Adidas has found it's mojo once again and is ready to drop heat on all you fools. This David Beckham collection, which was designed by James Bond from UNDFTD, is just one of a series of collaborations that Adidas has done recently (such as the Jeremy Scotts). Of course, these shoes will be limited editions and will be hard to come by, but not impossible to get like other limited drops are. They will be released sometime in August and will retail for $160 USD. They will be available in pearl white and dark red colorways.

Ninja Assassin Trailer Finally Revealed

Ever since I heard that a movie based on ninjas was being made, I've been waiting for the trailer to come out. The starring role is played by none other than Korean pop star, Rain (Jung Ji-Hoon). The beginning of the film reminds me a little of 300. Hopefully, the film will live up to my expectations. Check out the trailer yourself.

Mighty Crown x Nike Sportswear Dynasty High

Mighty Crown Entertainment, a Japanese reggae entertainment company, recently collaborated with Nike and are releasing their version of the Dynasty Hi's. The shoe's most noticeable features are a studded ankle strap (similar to the hi top Vandals), an extra long tag on the tongue, and black and gold accents throughout the shoe. I don't have any news on a release date, but I do know that these shoes are going to be extremely limited. They will most likely be released in quickstrike fashion.

Lacoste Dot Fade Pack

Lacoste is going to be releasing the Dot Fade pack soon and I must say, the shoes are interesting. However, the only colorway I would consider buying would be the black and white Carnaby or Ibiza models (the pic is of the Carnaby model). Looking at the shoe reminds me of those Mossimo shirts that make the words look blurry (I don't know if they still make those).

Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 Remake!!

They are remaking Nightmare on Elm Street and actor Jackie Earle Haley will be playing the part of Freddy Krueger. I have mixed feelings about this, but I'm hoping it will be as scary (or scarier) than the original. In any case, Freddy Krueger is one of the most recognizable horror movie monsters in the world and will definitely draw huge crowds to the theaters.

VAEL Project 2009 Collection

M Coleman Horn is one of my favorite designers. His fall 2009 collection of various bags and accessories are as slick and adventurous as the man himself. He utilized a mixture of canvas and premium leather to make this collection which includes an iPhone (smart phone) holder, laptop holder, and many other travel inspired gear. IMO, the best part of the whole collection are the two messenger bags I've featured here. Horn describes Vael in his own words, "“It’s apt that as I type this I’m somewhere above the Bearing Sea; traveling at 597 Miles an hour - with less then 8 hours to arrive in Hong Kong and no solid plans on where I’ll sleep tonight. This is a brand born of experience. This experience typifies how my peers and I live on a daily basis.” Nice. Both these totes run for $174 USD without shipping.

Adidas Outlet Sale: Espresso Gazelle 2's

Thanks to my homeboy for letting me know that the Adidas Outlet Store located @ the Allen outlet mall next to HWY 75 was having a major sale on all their in stock Adidas Classics (except for the Sambas). Yup, all their classics are going for about $30. Yes sir, if you live in the area, make your way there and see what you like.

I was lucky enough to buy one of the few Gazelle 2's they had left. IMO, these are one of the most slept on shoes out right now (probably because the hi top craze is finally running through all the "phresh kidz" and "swagtastic geek squaders" and stores don't want to stock as much low tops). This is probably a good thing since they won't raise the price on these shoes and they won't die of hype too soon (maybe never). These low tops have a very sleek look with clean lines. The gold Adidas logo and tongue emblem are also a nice touch.

Soliloquy Super Yacht

After seeing this at Gizmodo, I had to write something about it. It is one of the most beautiful concept designs I have ever seen for a boat/yacht. Not only is this a super-yacht, it is also supposedly very green, meaning it is environmentally friendly. It was designed by Alastair Callender and is 190 feet long. Hopefully, more companies will design their vehicles and buildings like this. Shoot, I've been waiting for the future since 2000.

How I Got Into Streetwear

I was asked on one of the many forums I post at, "How did you get into the streetwear scene?" I've been asked this before, but my answers never got specific. I guess now is a good time.

I didn't really learn about the streetwear culture until I was in 9th grade. At the time, I had this strong interest in Japanese culture (I still do to some extent). I read about the kids in Harajuku, Roppongi Hills, and Shibuya and all the crazy stuff they did with their outfits. I also stumbled onto a few websites dedicated to the kinds of clothes they wore. All I knew then was that they were exclusive and you couldn't find them in any of the stores within a 1,000 mile radius of where I live, Texas. I ended up putting it out of my mind and only browsed around 'em once every few months. At the time, I was more interested in b-boy culture. I guess that also helped open me up to the streetwear scene since they both have strong hip-hop elements involved and I always loved H.E.R. Just to let you know how in the dark I was, I used to crease my jeans with gallons of Stayflo and wore EVERYTHING 2 sizes too big. Yeah. I also knew a lot of the stuff I saw on those websites would never fly around my friends.

In 10th grade, as I was doing my usual browsing of underground hip-hop forums, I came upon my first WDYWT thread (what did you wear today). Needless to say, I took a pic of what I was wearing (some Old Navy jean shorts, white K-Swiss Classics, and blue Dickies button up) and posted it up. I was roasted for a good 2 pages. Dudes were talking about my clothes, proportions, etc. That forum was also where someone sold me my first pair of straight HEAT son! I bought a pair of Adidas Snakeskin Concord Hi's for $80. After awhile that was it. I didn't buy anything else aside from a few Chuck Taylors.

If it wasn't for that forum, I would have fallen for the trends going on around me (tall tees, wearing jerseys even if you didn't like the team just cause it was a popular jersey, grillz, excessive jewelry, etc.) I did fall into a few though, like wearing some belt buckles I bought at those random mall stands and matching everything (green hat, green shirt, green shoes).

It wasn't until I graduated HS and came to college that I found other people who had the same interests and thats when I became introduced into the whole culture. Music, clothing, art, etc. Back then, the hypebeast look was hot, so that's what I dressed like (bright colors everywhere). I came to my senses after a year and a half of the hypebeast look and now I'm working on my own steez.

Anyways, hope you liked my story, and that is how I lost my virginity. Also, the internetz is serious buzinezz.

Band of Outsiders for Sperry Fall/Winter 2009

I do not have much information on these yet. I will be sure to post release dates for them as soon as I get them in. However, I can tell you that from the looks of these, they feature what looks like a wool (possibly canvas upper) with leather or cotton laces. These are definitely the kind of shoes I would expect from a brand like Band of Outsiders.

The lowly samba shoe, formerly found only on soccer fields long ago, has come a long way since it first rolled off the assembly line in Southeast Asian sweatshops. What makes this Samba unique are the metallic gold accents and purple sole to contrast with the black, cracked leather upper. These joints are limited edition and currently only available in Japan. It is likely that a few pairs will make it onto eBay or to a few select boutiques stateside, but it might take another week or two. Available for about $110 USD, these limited editions are quite a steal.

Patta is a very solid brand based out of that fabled city of hookers and weed, Amsterdam. The brand has been around for 5 years now and has teamed up with Pro-Keds to release the Royal Hi and Royal Lo shoes. The shoe is made of all white pebbled leather and a gum sole for contrast. These are set for release on July 25th at their flagship store in Amsterdam. You will probably be unable to find these until at least a few days/weeks after their in store release (unless you fly over there on the 25th). Also, each shoe comes with its own canvas grocery bag.

District 81 GTR Woven White Button Up

I'm not a big fan of District 81, but then again, not many people are because they're a pretty new brand and don't venture beyond the standard "fresh, fly kidz" steez. Snap Backs have been around for a long time. Much longer than fitted hats for sure. However, fitted hats have dominated the hat landscape (lol) for years now. Maybe that's why snap backs have started to make somewhat of a comeback. Go cop your snap back at your local Lids or Hat World, but if you want a flat brim, your best bet is to look online. I just got word of these shoes today. Lacoste and ATMOS have done a collabo and I must say, it is fire. While I wouldn't wear the green or blue colorways nowadays, I am contemplating buying a pair of the black pair when they come out on July 1st. They're only going to be available in Japan for a while (unless a boutique close to you has been able to get a supply). The shoe features a terry cloth upper with oversize eyelets with "Lacoste" woven in multicolor letters on the tongue.

So I've been looking around lately for a nice backpack I could use for college this fall and there aren't many that stood out to me. I know, you're probably saying that I shouldn't care what kind of backpack I have since it's just an object to carry my books and supplies from class to class. Well, if you think about it, (depending on how long your school day is) your backpack is on your body or within close proximity of you about 60% of the day (I just made that up). For someone who is as shallow as me, I want to make sure that what I put on myself looks at least half-way decent. That's where Simple came in. For some reason, I've come to like how hang-over backpacks look (the kind of backpack with a flap on the back) and Simple was the only company I saw that offered these types of backpacks. So, if you see a light blue Toyota Prius and somebody close to you (or you) gets shot, write down the license number and call the police.

I'm assuming these pellets aren't the plastic kind. Apparently, a pellet actually penetrated about half an inch into one of the unlucky men who got shot.

The bassist from Green Day has teamed up with Macbeth and they have produced a kick ass shoe. I never would have guessed the bassist from Green Day had it in him to make something fire. This is hotness. The best part is, the shoe is entirely vegan. No animal products in its construction or production (or so we've been told). The shoe comes in a high top and low top version. I personally prefer the high top. I don't know why, but high tops have always held a special place in my sneaker loving heart.

The first time I saw these, I had to do a double take to make sure they were from Nike. Honestly, they would be the last shoe company I would expect these to come from. Nike came out with a canvas chukka boot. Here's the deal though. The shoe is a Tier 0 release, meaning you won't see these in stores stateside anytime soon. If you don't have the cash to drop on some real chukka's, then these Nike Zoom's can definitely help you out in that regard. (Assuming you know some international dealers you can cop from)

Reppin' Toronto, FORTApparel Keeps It Cool

For those of you that know me personally, if we have ever gotten into a discussion on where we want to live in the future, chances are I've said "Toronto" before. Why Toronto? Is it the low crime rate, international population, big city atmosphere, cooler climate? It's all those things and then some. That's why I'm glad to feature this clothing line.

They have some quality products with quality design. Sadly, many startup street wear brands don't pay enough attention to the actual quality of the products they use. FORTApparel does. I've purchased their New School 416 tee and I instantly knew that the designer spent some time thinking his product out. The tee is made of thicker cotton than the standard t-shirt and features a printed label, rather than a traditional tag label, so you don't get that scratchy feeling on the back of your neck.

FYSH Clothing Fitted Hats Are Fire

I just finished looking through upcoming clothing brand FYSH's 2009 lookbook and, I must say, I like almost everything they have presented so far. The one thing that stuck out the most to me though were the fitted hats. All in all, they are nicely done with a professional finish. Converse x UNDFTD Collabo

It's been awhile since I've posted up anything from the street wear/sneaker scene, but that's only because there hasn't been anything that's caught my eye. However, I finally came across these Converse x UNDFTD Poorman's Weapon. The olive color goes along with the military theme nicely (since most military gear are olive colored). The shoe was announced way back, but it's only recently come across my attention. It is basically the same as the previous black Poorman's Weapon, with the exception of the color of course. The best thing about this shoe, in my opinion, are the nylon uppers.

Sadly, this shoe has an extremely limited production. So, if you get your hands on some, you better hold on to it. I'm trying to get a pair myself, but I've been unable to find any in size 9.5. If you know where to cop, then please let me know.

I recently took a look at Triumvirs Spring 09 line (I know I'm late, f you) and it was hit or miss for me. However, their Praetorian M-65 jacket was the piece that stood out the most imo. I like the clean design and the shoulder lapels. Most military inspired clothing have 'em, but with Triumvir, it's the Roman Empire that inspires their designs. That explains the studs on the left breast pocket. I guess it's to give it a more "praetorian" feel. Anyways, don't take my word for it, check out the lookbook yourself.

A Backpack for $99?!?! Hell Naw or Hell Yeah?

I love a good backpack, especially quality ones that won't rip or have a shoulder strap snap off (I'm looking at you Jansport). That is why I love The North Face. Every NF backpack I've ever owned (2) have never broken or snapped. They just got a little too old for me and a little too dirty. So, when I saw this sleek looking backpack, The North Face Base Camp Master Cylinder, I decided to blog about it (long name, I know).

It's pricey for a backpack at $99.00 retail, but I bet you would end up spending that much replacing the other crappy backpacks that break down on you for the amount of time that these bags can last. I saw these in person at Gander Mountain (a sporting goods store) and the only problems I have with these are the fact that they are white and don't have a laptop compartment. Almost every college kid I know owns a laptop. Also, white can get dirty real quick if you're not careful. But, if you like the design as much as I do and want to cop, go here.

I would like to let everyone know that I have been "officially" accepted as a Karmaloop.com rep. I used to despise Karmaloop.com because it made several "underground" streetwear brands available to everyone. The streetwear scene was something that I kept up with constantly and I liked the fact that you had to hunt for certain items you wanted. I felt that Karmaloop was ruining the "exclusivity" factor of streetwear. After all, many of the other streetwear heads I know got into the scene to be different from everyone else and if everyone else can buy the same thing, then it loses that appeal.

I guess you could compare it to how hipsters love indie rock bands, but as soon as they get into the mainstream, they stop listening to them since they technically aren't "indie" anymore (I love using quotes). But, I realize that this is a selfish idea and if you like something, you shouldn't stop liking it because it becomes "mainstream". Anyway, there are still a bunch of other "underground" brands Karmaloop doesn't have LOL.

An Announcement: The Revolution is Here!

I will no longer be making any posts on this blog relating to music. I will only post up things that relate in some way to either a) design, b) clothing, or c) anything else I think of (except music). I'm mainly doing this since I've been thinking of changing the direction of this blog. I want to try and put up some unique information instead of info from second hand sources. Besides, my homeboy Tao has the music scene on lock.

P.S.

I'm also thinking of putting up some restaurant/club/event reviews, but only of places that are close by. That way, all the info will be from a primary source aka my own personal experiences (all you educated kids know what I'm talking about). When I'm ballin' outrageous, I'll put up some sh*t on some Parisian joints, but for right now, I'll settle for some Austin, TX joints.
