I am not Muslim nor am I Christian. I don't really define myself as being a believer in any religion, but I still believe in God (I also define "God" in a much different way than most people). Anyway, before I go in too deep into metaphysics, here is an interesting lecture/sermon given by Khalid Yasin concerning Muslim women. I sometimes listen to lectures I find on the internet and this one was really good at portraying the side of Islam that most people misunderstand.
Its the media that has painted a false picture of islam. Its funny how they said that women who are covered are opressed, but every picture that is drawn of Mary, the mother of Jesus, she is covered....was Mary oppressed?
